Update!

Fairfax, VA--Knitting books unearthed in large, heavy box buried under two strollers, a bike rack, and a boxed surround sound system.

Owner ecstatic with news; immediately picks up needles and casts on full-length, intricately detailed, lace-weight cabled sweater.

Okay, maybe not the last part. But they have been found!

Hey! That's awesome. I know that feeling you had earlier when you couldn't find it. My director's copy of 12th Night went on the AWOL list and I've still never found it. Sigh.

well, yeah, STROLLERS! : )

i lost a CD of photos someone i commissioned to take took and (sigh!) eventually brought by the house, and SIGH, i'm apparently too old to manage that kind of thing or remember what trash pile it may have gotten swept up into or what bill-pile it may be lurking under, etc.

yay for recovered books. i still can't believe i (must have) trashed / gifted / secondhandstored "on the decoration of houses" by wharton and ogden. : (
